Founded in 1995 in York, Nebraska, CTEC Construction began with Greg Wurst’s 13 years of hands-on field experience and a clear vision for excellence. From the start, Greg’s deep industry knowledge and commitment to quality laid the foundation for steady growth. Over time, a dedicated team of core workers emerged—forming the backbone of CTEC and driving its reputation for reliability and craftsmanship.

Greg’s unique ability to visualize structures and solve complex challenges positioned him as a true innovator and leader in the construction industry. His mentor-based approach—working side-by-side with crews on job sites—has not only shaped CTEC’s culture but also cultivated a new generation of industry leaders. 2012

In 2012 CTEC purchased Batterton Waterproofing.

2013

In 2013, CTEC expanded into Canada with the launch of CTECAG Construction ULC (“CTECAG Canada”). Since then, CTECAG Canada has proudly brought the same exceptional quality, innovative solutions, and highly skilled crews that have made our U.S. operations a trusted leader in the grain industry.

2014

In 2014, CTECAG took its commitment to excellence a step further with the launch of its Mechanical Division. Focused on repairs, equipment installations, and new facility build-outs, this division brings unmatched expertise to every project. Staffed with only the most skilled and certified millwrights, CTECAG delivers precision, reliability, and the exceptional quality our clients have come to trust.

2017

In 2017, Greg and his team revolutionized silo cleaning with the Silo Corner Cleaning Whip — a groundbreaking tool engineered to reach every corner others can’t. This game-changing innovation set a new industry standard and exemplifies CTECAG’s bold creativity, forward-thinking engineering, and unwavering commitment to excellence.

2018

In 2018, CTECAG introduced its Soil Stabilization & Concrete Lifting Division, featuring the revolutionary “Deep Foam Injection system. Engineered to stabilize unstable soils, lift concrete foundations, and tackle a wide range of subsurface challenges, this innovative solution delivers fast, reliable results tailored to our clients’ needs.
